Recruitment and selection training

We briefly mentioned this in our December Newsletter. Now having recovered from our NYE hangovers, we’ve put the final touches to this program and it is now ready for launch! We’re very excited about it and we hope you will be too.

In partnership with renowned training consultancy Assessment Edge, we have developed a comprehensive training program designed to provide you with necessary tools to make your recruitment activity more efficient, streamlined, and ultimately more successful!

The half day Recruitment and Selection training program demonstrates our commitment to real partnerships with our key clients and is free to all clients who work in partnership with us on an exclusive basis. Normally this would cost $595. Key topics include: narrowing the gap between company expectation and the candidate market; effective interview techniques; differentiating your company and the role from your competitors; salary negotiations and the importance of feedback.

The program has been especially formulated with you in mind and is tailored to the local employment market. No other agency provides such training and rewards their clients. To discuss the program in more detail and the many benefits of working with us on an exclusive basis, please contact one of our consultants today on 9279 2777.

Our next workshop…

…Is on Tuesday 7th February from 5:30 if you have not already penciled this in to your diary, and will shed light in the various implications of the impending industrial relations legislation and how it will affect businesses and employees and a whole host of other HR related issues. Once again, we will using the excellent facilities provided by the Australian Graduate School of Management in O’Connell Street. There are only a few spaces left, so if you haven’t already, book your spot, by replying to this email – and please feel free to bring along a colleague.

Christmas Party

To thank our clients who have worked with us in 2005, we held our annual Christmas party in the cigar lounge in the Cargo Bar on the 20th December.  Overlooking picturesque Darling Harbour, a great time was had by all – including a few gatecrashers who managed to blag their way in posing as various clients on the guest-list!...The things people will do for free drink and great company… Their number was soon up and Nikki soon stepped in and flexed some muscle before bouncing them out the door quick smart!

With a farewell comes a welcome (or two)

After three years at Beaumont Consulting we say goodbye to our beloved Louise. After all shedding a few tears we have opened our arms and hearts to a couple of fabulous new recruiters, enter Justine and Dan! You will no doubt come to love and adore the new additions to the team as much as we do.  Justine joins the Office Support team in the city and Dan joins the Chatswood possy.

Terrific Temp

Outstanding performance from our temps doesn’t go unnoticed. We truly appreciate their efforts and therefore would like to acknowledge the great work they are doing for us.

Our January Temp of the Month award goes to Martine Rapson. Martine has done a number of temporary jobs for Beaumont, most recently at Teachers Federation Health where she has received glowing reports.

Martine is pictured here whilst on assignment at Teachers Federation Health. She gets a $100 voucher from the store of her choice.

Joke of the month

Two parrots are sat on a perch. One said to the other, “Do you smell fish?”

Quote of the month

It may be hard for an egg to turn into a bird: it would be a jolly sight harder for it to learn to fly while remaining an egg. We are like eggs at present. And you cannot go on indefinitely being just an ordinary, decent egg. We must be hatched or go bad.
