Our client is part of an innovative, global medical device company at the forefront of technology. They aim to support quality care and products across a range of medical specialities.

Reporting to the international Financial Controller overseas you’ll be responsible for timely and accurate internal and external financial reporting for the Australian entity. With one person reporting to your key tasks will be:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial statements in USGAAP & present to International HQ
• Prepare statutory annual reports in local GAAP
• VAT and other Tax reports
• Implementation of Statutory and Corporate accounting policies
• Cash Management and forecasting
• Ensure that the business control processes and procedures support Sarbanes-Oxley legislation.

To be successful in this role you’ll need to have knowledge of US-GAAP & Australian GAAP accounting and reporting and ideally experience in major ERP system such as SAP. You should also have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have initiative and a proactive approach.
