This end user client has been leading the way across Cognos BI in Sydney for some time and are currently seeking an additional team member to join their already excellent team of highly skilled and dedicated Cognos specialists.

You will be working with a number of the leading Cognos experts in the industry (this is no idle boast) on a key projects for an end user client that is doing things the right way and are turning data into information.

In this role you will be responsible for but not limited to;

• The delivery of enhanced business reporting through the development of new management information systems
• Improving data integrity
• Maintaining the current BI environment including reports, data assets and hierarchies in reporting systems.
• Accurate analysis of financial matters and  managing monthly loading of financial and non-financial data into the multi-dimensional reporting tool.

To be considered for this role your background will include;

• A strong Business Intelligence Background in Cognos
• Knowledge of data acquisition (stage, cleanse, dimensionally model) using Cognos Data Manager.
• Metadata modeling using Cognos Framework Manager.
• Creation of professional reports using Cognos Report studio.
• Cognos 8.3 Framework Manager
• SQL skills
